Make an incredible difference in the lives of K-12 students by providing expert care as an onsite Physical Therapist in an engaging educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with a daily schedule of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Youll work closely with a diverse student population, supporting their growth, development, and independence through therapeutic interventions designed to meet varying levels of need.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapist license issued by ECPTOTE
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and other professionals
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptability to work with children across various grade levels (K-12)
- Dedication to evidence-based practice, with a compassionate and student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and design individualized treatment plans for students requiring physical therapy
- Deliver direct therapy while monitoring and documenting student progress
- Consult regularly with teachers and families to recommend accommodations and modifications
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and student evaluations
- Lead or assist with training and guidance for school staff regarding physical therapy interventions
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and uphold professional standards
