Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a physical therapist, starting with a part-time opportunity in July and transitioning to full-time for the upcoming school year. This contract position allows you to work closely with students across a range of grade levels and disabilities, helping each reach their potential.

Youll begin by providing 40 hours of physical therapy services between July and early August, setting students up for success before diving into a full-time caseload from August through May 2027. This is an itinerant position, primarily servicing schools in the southern area. Your expertise will be valued as you collaborate with educators, staff, and families to design and implement individualized interventions.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas physical therapy license
• Experience working in school settings, K-12 preferred
• Ability to support students with diverse physical and educational needs
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Flexibility to travel between schools in the southern part of the district

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Perform assessments and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Provide guidance and training to school personnel where needed
• Adapt interventions to meet the needs of a varied caseload
