Job Description

Make a meaningful impact as a Physical Therapist in an onsite setting, working with K-8 students in a supportive and engaging school environment. This contract opportunity offers a stable and rewarding assignment starting immediately and extending through June 2027, with the added bonus of a guaranteed full 2026-2027 school year and summer placement.

The position features a consistent two-day workweek (16.5 hours) with scheduled hours from 7:30 AM to 3:45 PMperfect for those seeking work-life balance alongside their professional passions. Your caseload will feature a manageable group of 10 students, allowing you to build strong rapport and truly make a difference.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Physical Therapy (PT) License
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric PT strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Dedication to fostering students growth and maximizing their participation in school routines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans for K-8 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student success
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP teams as required
  • Provide guidance and strategies to school staff for integrating PT supports into daily activities
