Job Description

This contract opportunity is designed for a licensed Physical Therapist seeking a dynamic, part-time role for the 2026-2027 school year. Youll work exclusively onsite, providing services across multiple campuses, and support a diverse caseload of primarily elementary-aged students.

What youll bring:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
  • Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
  • Experience in a school-based environment or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Willingness to serve an itinerant caseload, traveling between various campuses (PK-12)
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Completion of required fingerprinting; eligibility for badge clearance per district policy
  • Excellent communication, adaptability, and organizational skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering individualized and group physical therapy services to students, as outlined in IEPs
  • Assessing student needs and monitoring progress
  • Collaborating with educational teams to develop and implement therapy goals
  • Documenting sessions, preparing reports, and maintaining compliance with district/state guidelines
  • Traveling to multiple school sites near Niceville as needed
  • Providing education and resources to staff and families for student support
