Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current New Jersey physical therapist license required
• Masters degree in physical therapy
• School-based or pediatric care experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal collaboration skills
• Comfort working with students ranging from elementary through high school
• Ability to adapt approaches for a variety of age groups and developmental needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess student physical needs within the educational setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and participation
• Deliver direct physical therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Document progress and collaborate regularly with teachers, parents, and educational staff
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, interventions, and ongoing student support planning
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations to staff regarding classroom adaptations, accessibility, and mobility equipment
