Ideal candidates hold a Masters degree and a current New Jersey physical therapist license. Experience in school settings or pediatric care is a plus, enabling you to confidently address the unique needs of children and adolescents at various developmental stages.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Valid New Jersey physical therapist license
• Prior experience in schools or pediatric care highly preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
• Skilled in developing and adapting treatment plans for diverse student populations
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and implement individualized physical therapy interventions for students from elementary to high school
• Develop IEP-based therapy goals and maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support holistic educational experiences
• Provide training and resources to staff regarding mobility strategies and optimal classroom modifications
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment to maximize student engagement and independence
• Participate in student support meetings as an integral team member
