A Physical Therapist position is available within a school setting near New Lenox, IL, offering an excellent opportunity to deliver specialized care to early childhood students. This contract role involves working onsite one day per week, providing therapy services and evaluations tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for early childhood students.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions to improve students' functional abilities.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license.
- Experience working in pediatric or school-based physical therapy preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and create effective treatment strategies.
