Job Description

This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide services both within a school setting and to a select group of medically homebound students. Based near Wilmington, DE, you'll play a crucial part in the academic year starting August 25, 2026, and continuing through June 8, 2027. Enjoy the flexibility to work either part-time or full-time, with a weekday schedule totaling up to 37.5 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Delaware (required for consideration)
  • Experience providing PT services in educational settings preferred
  • Compassionate and solution-oriented with strong communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to homebound students as needed
  • Ability to adapt to fluctuating caseloads throughout the year
  • Team player who collaborates effectively with educators, families, and support providers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized PT services to students within a school environment
  • Travel to and provide skilled therapy for students who are medically homebound
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and communication with school and district personnel
  • Assist in IEP meetings and contribute feedback to support student progress
  • Flexibly manage an evolving caseload, responding to school and student needs
