This contract position offers an opportunity for a licensed Physical Therapist to provide services within a school setting near Naperville, IL. The role involves supporting early childhood students with evaluations and therapy, contributing to their developmental progress.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide physical therapy services to early childhood students.
- Manage a caseload that currently includes 4 students, with potential for growth.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress.
- Comply with all applicable state and school regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Physical Therapist license is required.
- Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably within school settings, is beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, families, and educational staff.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule for 4 hours per week onsite.
