Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience working as a PT within schools or pediatric healthcare settings
- Strong understanding of IEP procedures, documentation, and compliance
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to assess and treat children with a variety of physical needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to determine students physical therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Participate in IEP meetings by providing input and documentation regarding student progress and therapy needs
- Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in various educational environments
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and legal requirements
- Educate and support families, teachers, and staff on appropriate strategies, adaptations, and interventions
