Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid license to practice Physical Therapy (PT) in Michigan, or eligibility to obtain before start date

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
• Effective time-management and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students referred for physical therapy services in accordance with state and school guidelines
• Develop tailored intervention plans and set measurable, functional goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success in both academic and functional skills
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, modifying activities based on each student's unique abilities
• Maintain clear and compliant documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and attendance
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and progress updates
