Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid physical therapy license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous pediatric, school-based, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, educators, and families
- Ability to create and implement individualized plans for diverse students
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability within a school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students physical abilities and develop customized therapy plans
- Deliver direct services and interventions targeting students mobility and functional outcomes
- Work within multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy into educational objectives
- Track progress, document sessions, and adjust goals as needed for each student
- Consult and collaborate with school staff, caregivers, and outside providers to maximize student success
- Provide training and strategies for classroom staff to support carryover of skills
