Desired Qualifications:
- Current, valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Illinois
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and commitment to individualized student care
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches for a diverse student population (grades K-12)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine therapy needs and progress
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams
- Develop and implement treatment plans focused on promoting students mobility, independence, and school participation
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of all therapeutic interventions and meetings
