Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist (PT) in California
• Previous experience working with pediatric and/or school-based populations strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and special education procedures
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt interventions to diverse student needs and abilities
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students' physical therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group or one-on-one settings
• Collaborate with classroom staff to integrate therapeutic strategies throughout the school day
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP and staff meetings, sharing professional insights and recommendations
• Educate school personnel and families on exercises and interventions to promote student success
