Job Description

Take on a rewarding opportunity as a Physical Therapist supporting students in a welcoming school environment for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This contract role is located onsite near Monrovia, IN, and focuses on delivering care to a small caseload, allowing for meaningful interactions and focused attention.

As the dedicated PT for this position, you'll work directly in one school, managing a caseload of just 9 students. Your services will be provided one day per week, for a total of 7 hours, making this an excellent fit for those with existing commitments or seeking to add a purposeful part-time position to their schedule.

What you bring:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license for the state of Indiana
  • Experience or interest in working within educational settings, particularly with K-12 populations
  • Skillful, compassionate provider dedicated to enhancing student mobility and independence
  • Efficient time management and ability to integrate a once-weekly onsite visit into your current professional schedule
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to interact with staff, students, and families

Key responsibilities:

  • Assess students referred for physical therapy, developing and executing plans tailored to individual educational needs
  • Provide direct onsite PT services, maintaining detailed documentation and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with school personnel and families to support student success within their learning environment
  • Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations
