An excellent contract opportunity is open for a Remote Physical Therapist to provide essential support to students for the 2025-2026 school year. With a manageable workload of 8 hours per week, this role offers flexibility for professionals seeking to make a meaningful impact within an educational setting, serving students in and around the Dallas, OR area.
Key Requirements:
- Valid Oregon Physical Therapist License (active and in good standing)
- Experience providing PT services in a school environment is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and educational staff
- Ability to provide remote/teletherapy services using various digital platforms and tools
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and reporting requirements
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services virtually to eligible students, supporting their progress toward educational goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations, interpret results, and monitor student progress
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation according to state and school guidelines
- Provide consultation, support, and education to school staff and families as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student care planning
