Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license for the state of California
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric patients is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to supporting the diverse needs of students in an educational setting
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess students referred for physical therapy and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services as outlined in each students IEP
• Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school/district and legal requirements
• Consult and collaborate with teachers and other staff to adapt classroom activities for student participation
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs, goals, and progress
• Serve as a resource for families and staff, offering guidance and support on physical therapy concerns
