Qualifications and Experience:
- Current California Physical Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, or working with pediatric populations, strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students to identify physical development and motor skill needs within the educational setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor therapy plans tailored to individual student goals
- Work collaboratively with educational teams, parents, and outside providers to support student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Offer consultation and training to staff on best practices for supporting students physical mobility and participation
