Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Minnesota physical therapist license
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric therapy strongly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, students, and families
• Proficiency in evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Adaptability to work with diverse age groups and needs, from elementary to high school students

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop targeted therapy plans for students with varying physical needs
• Provide direct physical therapy services, supporting students with mobility, motor skills, and adaptive function within the school environment
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support for each student
• Document student progress, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
• Offer guidance and education to school staff on best practices for student inclusion, posture, mobility, and injury prevention
• Utilize creativity and expertise to help students reach their goals and participate fully in school life
