Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required
  • Active Minnesota Physical Therapist license (MN PT license) in good standing
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric therapy highly preferred
  • Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and educational best practices desirable
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for team-based interventions
  • Adaptable approach to working with diverse elementary, middle, and high school students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students individually and in groups, addressing unique mobility and functional needs
  • Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans aligned with students IEP goals and educational objectives
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student participation in school activities
  • Maintain thorough, timely progress notes and required documentation
  • Provide guidance regarding adaptive equipment and classroom modifications
  • Support ongoing professional development and training within the school community
