Utilizing your specialized skill set, youll play a vital role in helping children achieve their physical and functional goals in an educational setting. The role is structured as a W2 contract and comes with access to comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience or strong interest in working within school environments
- Knowledgeable in pediatric therapy, IEPs, goal setting, and documentation for school-age children
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and parents
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with organizational efficiency
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive therapeutic environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance students physical mobility and participation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support educational and developmental objectives
- Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations or assistive devices
- Promote student independence and participation in school activities
