Qualifications & Skills:

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
• Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to school-aged children
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent communication for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
• Compassion, patience, and a student-focused approach

Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate students motor skills, needs, and abilities
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to meet students IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to optimize student outcomes
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor progress, adjusting treatments as needed
• Document evaluations, goals, interventions, and progress in accordance with school policies and professional standards
• Provide guidance and resources to teachers and families for carryover into classroom and home settings
• Contribute to an inclusive and supportive school environment
