Qualifications and Experience:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Arizona physical therapist license
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of students (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students physical abilities and needs to develop and implement goal-oriented therapy plans
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
- Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families on strategies for improving student mobility and participation
- Adapt activities and modify equipment as needed to ensure accessibility and safety
