Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy
• Active Arizona physical therapist license
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of students (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess students physical abilities and needs to develop and implement goal-oriented therapy plans
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services within the school environment
• Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams
• Offer guidance and resources to staff and families on strategies for improving student mobility and participation
• Adapt activities and modify equipment as needed to ensure accessibility and safety
