Qualifications & Experience:
- Active license as a Physical Therapist (PT)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently while supporting team-based goals
- Organizational skills for managing a varied caseload and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans within the educational setting
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families on student progress and accommodations
- Provide therapy services to support physical development, motor coordination, and functional independence
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student abilities and goals
