Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in a district near Medford, OR. This role focuses on helping students improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional access within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students gross motor and mobility needs
- Develop and implement IEP goals and treatment plans
- Provide direct physical therapy services in school settings
- Support safe access to classrooms and school activities
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and related service providers
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
- Active or eligible Oregon PT license
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with pediatric or special education populations a plus
