Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) required
• Recent experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of IEP procedures and documentation
• Comfortable delivering therapy for a wide range of student needs, from early childhood through high school
• Familiarity supervising or collaborating with Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs)
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative PT services to K-12 students, aligned with IEP goals and district requirements
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, documenting findings and recommending interventions
• Develop treatment plans and adapt interventions for a diverse student population
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary team collaboration
• Train and guide PTAs and other staff as needed to ensure best practices
• Maintain thorough, compliant records and communicate progress with families and staff
