Job Description

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid GA Physical Therapist License required
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions and strategies for students with a range of mobility and functional needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations to determine student needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor ongoing progress
  • Complete all required reports, documentation, and records accurately and on time
  • Offer consultation and training to staff for improved classroom accessibility
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions

This full-time assignment offers a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours across five days, providing continuity and engagement with the same student population throughout the school year.
