Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Ohio physical therapist license (required for practice)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred

  • A passion for working with children and students with varied abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct physical therapy services to students at the elementary, middle, and high school levels
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to optimize therapy strategies within the school environment
  • Deliver consultative services and training to staff on matters related to physical development and mobility
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation while adhering to district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reports
