Key Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certification is required
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction tailored to students with varying learning needs across grades K-12
- Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies to maximize achievement
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to create an inclusive classroom environment
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with all special education requirements
