A physical therapy position is available within a school setting located in Maple Valley, WA. This contract role is ideal for licensed physical therapists with experience working in educational environments, supporting students with diverse physical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide physical therapy services to students to support their mobility, functional skills, and overall participation in school activities
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Monitor student progress and update therapy goals and documentation accordingly
• Assist with gathering and interpreting assessment data for eligibility and re-evaluation meetings
• Educate school staff and families on techniques and strategies to support student physical development

Desired Qualifications:

• Current state license as a Physical Therapist
• Experience delivering therapy services in schools preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the diverse needs of school-aged children
• Knowledge of educational regulations and documentation standards is a plus
