Job Description

Seeking a dedicated physical therapist to provide onsite care in a school setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role focuses on maternity leave coverage and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students physical well-being in a vibrant learning environment near Maple Grove, MN.

This position entails regular daytime hours (Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week), allowing for a consistent and structured schedule. The assignment is projected to begin around September 2, 2026, and conclude December 21, 2027. Caseload details will be shared as soon as they are finalized.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota PT license (must be attached to be considered)
  • Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations strongly preferred
  • Adaptability and comfort covering maternity leaves or similar temporary assignments
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and case management abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver school-based physical therapy services to students in accordance with IEPs or 504 plans
  • Evaluate students needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress
  • Consult with educators and family members to help support each students physical and educational goals
  • Prepare thorough and timely reports and documentation as required
  • Maintain compliance with all regional and state guidelines and PT best practices
  • Provide a supportive, motivating, and safe environment for students
