Make a meaningful impact by providing physical therapy services to K-12 students in a school-based setting near Mansfield, TX. This contract assignment offers an exciting opportunity to transition from a part-time summer schedule into a rewarding full-time, itinerant position throughout the academic year.

Begin your assignment this July, delivering approximately 40 hours of service to students across all grade levels prior to the new school year. Starting in August, youll move into a full-time placement, working with a diverse caseload and supporting students with a wide variety of abilities and needs throughout the year until late May 2027.

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Physical Therapy license required
• Previous experience with school-based physical therapy essential
• Skilled at providing care to children and adolescents in a K-12 setting
• Comfortable supporting students with a wide range of disabilities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary teams
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between campuses in the southern part of the district

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students unique needs
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress
• Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
• Support students participation in academic and extracurricular activities
• Adapt services and schedules as needed in an itinerant role
