Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, staff, students, and families
- Passion for improving student mobility, independence, and participation in school activities
Position Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals for K-12 students
- Implement evidence-based PT interventions during scheduled hours: part-time, three days weekly, 8:00am1:00pm
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff to foster accessibility and support students functional abilities
