Located near Loving, NM, youll have the opportunity to work with diverse age groups and a supportive school staff.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy is required
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license for the state of New Mexico
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and an adaptable approach for working with students, teachers, and parents
• Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress accurately
• Collaborates effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct physical therapy services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings
• Administer evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to support students educational needs
• Collaborate with special education teams and educators to integrate therapy goals into student IEPs
• Educate staff and families on best practices for supporting students motor development and mobility
• Maintain thorough and accurate records of student progress and related documentation
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all students receiving therapy
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute meaningful insights regarding student progress and needs
