Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in California
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, especially within school environments (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and goal-setting
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Adaptability to a dynamic educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students with a range of physical abilities and needs
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals and IEP requirements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, interventions, and student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Educate school staff and families on strategies to support student mobility and participation in the classroom
  • Implement therapy interventions both one-on-one and in small groups
