Your expertise as a physical therapist will help students achieve greater independence, enhance their access to learning, and develop essential life skills.

Qualifications:

  • Current California Physical Therapy License (required)
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 students across various needs
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet students individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Commitment to building positive, supportive relationships with students of all backgrounds

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy assessments, interventions, and documentation for students with a range of physical abilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students unique goals and needs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary IEP teams, including educators, parents, and specialists
  • Educate staff and families regarding mobility, equipment, and student support strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as necessary to maximize success
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $85.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
