This rewarding contract opportunity is located near Los Angeles, serving a diverse population of students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a vibrant educational environment. Your expertise as a physical therapist will help students achieve greater independence, enhance their access to learning, and develop essential life skills.
Qualifications:
- Current California Physical Therapy License (required)
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 students across various needs
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet students individual education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Commitment to building positive, supportive relationships with students of all backgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy assessments, interventions, and documentation for students with a range of physical abilities
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each students unique goals and needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary IEP teams, including educators, parents, and specialists
- Educate staff and families regarding mobility, equipment, and student support strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy as necessary to maximize success
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines

Compensation for this position ranges from $32.00 to $85.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
