Job Description
Provide physical therapy services to students in a K-12 school setting in Santa Monica, CA. This contract position offers 30.5 hours over 5 days per week, focusing on supporting students' physical development and mobility through tailored interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver school-based physical therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the educational environment
- Document therapy services and maintain compliance with regulatory and school district requirements
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute clinical expertise
- Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet diverse student needs across various age groups
Qualifications:
- Valid California Physical Therapist license
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy strategies for K-12 students
