Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license issued by the state of California
• Previous experience providing physical therapy within a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students physical development and motor skills to determine needs and eligibility for services
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and goals to help students access the curriculum
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to integrate therapy into classroom activities
• Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback and recommendations during IEP meetings
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students physical growth and participation
