Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a school-based Physical Therapist (PT) in a welcoming, close-knit district near Lexington, SC. Youll work part-time (12 hours per week) from August 4, 2026, through May 27, 2027, providing vital physical therapy services, collaborating with educational teams, and helping students achieve their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active South Carolina Physical Therapist license
  • Prior school-based PT experience is a plus, though not required
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working with school-aged children (K12)
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect physical therapy services to K12 students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Assess, plan, and implement treatment programs to facilitate student access and participation in the educational environment
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to support students overall academic and physical development
  • Participate in team meetings and provide professional input for student care
  • Maintain accurate records and ongoing documentation as needed for compliance and progress tracking
