Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation for diverse student needs
  • Clear communicator and positive team collaborator
  • Flexible approach, ready to adapt to evolving school schedules and student requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct physical therapy services to early childhood and K-12 students to promote functional mobility and participation
  • Conduct thorough evaluations, document findings, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Consult with teachers, special education teams, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Support IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and follow district guidelines and special education protocols
  • Promote best practices for physical therapy in a school environment, adapting techniques to meet each childs needs
