This contract opportunity offers two unique caseloads: one position supporting Early Intervention services (11-month assignment) and another serving K-12 students. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland Physical Therapist (PT) license required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and implementation for diverse student needs
- Clear communicator and positive team collaborator
- Flexible approach, ready to adapt to evolving school schedules and student requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct physical therapy services to early childhood and K-12 students to promote functional mobility and participation
- Conduct thorough evaluations, document findings, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Consult with teachers, special education teams, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Support IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records and follow district guidelines and special education protocols
- Promote best practices for physical therapy in a school environment, adapting techniques to meet each childs needs
