Inspire and support students throughout their educational journey as a dedicated Physical Therapist for the upcoming school year. This full-time opportunity is based near Lehigh Acres, FL, and covers multiple schools, offering an enriching experience working with diverse age groups from PreK through 12th grade. As an itinerant therapist, you'll travel between campuses, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional therapy services and help students reach their fullest physical potential.

Desired Qualifications:

• Masters or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
• Active Physical Therapist license issued by the Florida Department of Health
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred, but strong clinical PT backgrounds are considered
• Commitment to the unique needs of children and adolescents from various backgrounds
• Ability to manage an evolving caseload and adapt interventions for students with individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and time management abilities
• Completion of fingerprinting requirements; familiarity with AHCA Clearinghouse and JLA badge transfer/issuance preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based therapy services to students in PreK-12, meeting IEP and student-specific goals
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Serve as a vital resource for staff and families, participating in meetings and providing expert input on physical development and accessibility
• Travel between assigned schools within the district, balancing schedules and priorities effectively
• Maintain compliance with all credentialing, privacy, and district requirements

This contract runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering up to 37.5 hours per week in a rewarding, school-centered environment.
