Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid South Carolina Physical Therapist license (SC PT License)
- Previous experience providing physical therapy in school or healthcare settings preferred
- Strong understanding of the unique needs of K-12 students
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families
- Adaptability to deliver therapy in a school environment
- Commitment to promoting student independence and confidence
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students across various grade levels
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services as outlined in students IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to optimize therapeutic support within the school environment
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and treatment outcomes
- Adjust interventions and recommendations as needed for each students unique needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
