Beginning September 1, 2026, and running through June 14, 2027, this role is ideal for a dedicated PT professional seeking a consistent, part-time schedulejust one day per weekwhile making a meaningful difference in children's lives.
What you'll bring:
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license (required)
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-aged children in academic settings
- Knowledge of IEPs, therapy documentation, and best practices in pediatric physical therapy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, parents, and school staff
- Additional MA educational certifications may be needed
Your impact and responsibilities:
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students with a variety of needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation
- Recommend adaptive equipment and strategies to support student participation within the school environment
- Collaborate with classroom staff and families to promote student success and inclusion
