Job Description

Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Willingness to pursue or obtain any additional MA educational certifications as required
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with staff, students, and families
  • Strong commitment to delivering individualized care in line with best practices
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently on a part-time, on-site basis

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs and team recommendations
  • Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in meetings, contributing PT expertise to support student outcomes
  • Adapt service delivery to meet diverse needs within the school environment
