You'll work a full-time schedule, 35 hours per week, giving you the chance to see your students' progress across the school year.
As the primary Physical Therapist at your assigned site, youll assess, plan, and implement interventions for students across all agesfrom kindergarteners working on foundational motor skills to high school students refining mobility for increased independence. With virtual, casual interviews and a streamlined onboarding process, you can quickly transition to making a difference in students lives.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Physical Therapist license required
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is desirable
- Capable of managing a diverse K-12 caseload in a collaborative environment
- Effective communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously as the sole school-based PT
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students physical therapy needs and develop tailored intervention plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services to support students educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support
- Maintain thorough documentation reflective of students progress and sessions
- Attend meetings as necessary to contribute expertise for IEP planning
