This role offers a dynamic, school-based setting where youll collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff, fostering growth for children and teens with diverse needs.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Valid Michigan physical therapist license (current and in good standing)
• Experience within schools or pediatrics highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to serve students across elementary, middle, and high school environments
• Commitment to supporting students physical, social, and academic development

Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans and set measurable goals
• Deliver direct physical therapy interventions in both group and one-on-one settings
• Work closely with teachers, counselors, and families to support student plans
• Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Adapt techniques and therapy approaches to align with each students abilities
• Educate students, staff, and families about mobility, safety, and physical development
• Travel between school sites as needed
