Job Description

Step into a rewarding opportunity serving K-12 students across a district with a focus on providing exceptional physical therapy support. This full-time, contract position for the 2026-2027 academic year requires onsite presence and dedication to student wellbeing, with a diverse caseload of 25-30 students throughout the district.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Washington State Physical Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • Willingness to complete fingerprinting through OSPI if not already completed
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy strongly preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group physical therapy interventions to K-12 students
  • Assess, develop, implement, and update treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams
  • Document session notes and progress according to school and state requirements
  • Participate in developing and reviewing IEPs, providing expertise in physical development and access to the educational environment
  • Serve as a resource to staff and families regarding mobility, adaptive equipment, and classroom modifications
  • Travel between school sites within the district as needed
