Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Ohio Physical Therapist license
• Previous school-based or pediatric physical therapy experience is preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities
• Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored for students of varying ages and needs

Position Responsibilities:

• Assess student needs and develop goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with IEP teams and school staff
• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services for students from elementary through high school
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Educate school personnel and families on strategies to support students physical development and participation
• Adapt interventions to classroom and school environments, promoting accessibility and inclusion
• Communicate regularly with parents and multidisciplinary team members to review and adjust plans as needed
