Youll collaborate closely with educators and families to help students achieve their mobility and functional goals within the school setting.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
• Experience with youth, ideally in school-based or pediatric settings
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with a range of disabilities, supporting students from multiple grade levels
• Ability to thrive independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop customized therapy plans for students
• Deliver direct physical therapy services as outlined in each students IEP
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure optimal student support
• Document progress, maintain compliance with district and state guidelines
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet students unique physical and educational needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational teams decisions
