As a contract physical therapist, youll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create tailored therapy plans that promote student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapist license
- Experience working with pediatric populations or in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach
- Organizational skills and ability to manage a flexible caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine students needs and progress
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom
- Communicate progress, concerns, and goals with families and educational staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support holistic educational planning
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation to ensure compliance with school and state regulations
