Key qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT)
• Experience supporting children and adolescents, preferably in school-based settings
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with students, families, and school teams
• Organizational strengths and flexibility adapting to diverse needs
• Familiarity with IEP goals and special education processes is a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations of students physical, motor, and functional abilities
• Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans targeting each students goals
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to support students participation and access in the school environment
• Maintaining thorough documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Delivering both direct and consultative services as needed
• Providing education and support to staff and caregivers
