Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
- Current and valid Louisiana physical therapist license
- Prior school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students physical and functional needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in compliance with IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services in a variety of school environments
- Educate and advise families, educators, and other related staff on therapeutic techniques to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports according to school and federal requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
