Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active Louisiana physical therapist license
• Prior experience in a pediatric or school-based environment strongly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for various age groups and developmental stages
• Comfort working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Assess students physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with IEPs and educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Document evaluations, session notes, and progress reports accurately and promptly
• Offer training, resources, and support to staff and caregivers regarding student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights on student development
