Key Qualifications:

• Active Physical Therapy license in Alaska (or eligibility to obtain)
• Pediatric or school-based experience is highly preferred
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities
• Strong organizational skills for managing a varied caseload
• Compassion, patience, and flexibility for working in a school context

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy assessments for students
• Develop customized treatment plans to address individual needs
• Implement evidence-based interventions in both classroom and therapy room settings
• Consult with teachers, counselors, and families for integrated care
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
• Contribute to IEP meetings and help draft goals aligned with student progress
